Another PatchLevelFillPattern type might be useful.
Do you have integrated a kind of PatchLevelFillPattern that fills all ghost cells, including coarse-fine boundary, physical boundary and ghost cells covered by other patches on the same level? If not, do you have plan to add it?
If I understand your description, this is the default behavior and does not require a fill pattern.
If my understanding is correct, the default setting would fill every cell that could be filled. However, I was wondering whether there is a LevelFillPatern that could fill ONLY ghost cells and leave all real cells unfilled even if they could be.
Oh, I see. A fill pattern that skips interiors seems like an unusual operation in my experience. Can you describe the use case for it?
