How to simulate multi-layer microstructure

Open LPH0696 opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Dear Authors. I would like to ask that we intend to use additivefoam open source code with ExaCA code for simulation of multilayer microstructure evolution problem in additive manufacturing. We are currently using additivefoam to simulate a two-layer single lane example of additive manufacturing and output the temperature field as a temperature file required by ExaCA, but currently there is a problem that the run results are not the same as the output of the example you have given (TwoLineTwoLayer), where can I adjust my settings to make it output correctly? image This is the output of the example image This is the result of our run

@LPH0696 - @colemanjs mentioned that this issue was addressed on the AdditiveFOAM side, were you able to successfully simulate the multilayer microstructure?
