16 channel support?

Hey mate, love your work. It's pretty good. Your code has helped me heaps in developing (contributing) to another open source project: Speeduino.

I was thinking about going through your code and see if there's the possibility to add support for 16x channels on teensy4.1? Do you know if there is a limitation on this - just before I go for swim through the code that's all.

I actually implemented it over a year ago and have been using it myself, but haven't finished thoroughly testing it and releasing it. So yes, it is possible. This gives me an incentive to finally clean it up and release it.
