Processes reporting as "failed"

From time to time, the Project Status changes to "Failed" in the GUI even though the process is actually still running. Sorry not to have more details, but I recall this being mostly with Quality Trim and Filter. The pipeline usually continues just fine. (dev version)

We have notice this issue some time that the system process exit unexpected (killed, seg fault, core dump ...) without any error information been printed into process.log file. It is not consistent between process.log and the process id tracked (linux command ps aux) by EDGE such that EDGE changes the project status. Even though, the downstream analysis continues, it may have data corruption. We will look into this. If you have more information can provide to us, ex process.log, error.log and log.txt file on the failed module directory ..., those files will help us narrow down the issue.
