glad to see i'm not the only once facing this problem tho i don't think rebooting via 'sudo reboot now' is what i'd call an abnormal shutdown

same problem on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed
hddtemp is installed and it works, the script has been modified to only display the installed disks however, running the unmodified script outputs the same thing : 
 the service is configured properly, i even reinstalled it to make sure it was clean running nc doesn't show anything either 
enabling the daemon seems to work,  however i'm not getting any SMART report even tho i have smartmontools installed, smartd is running too
the ubuntu version straight up crashes with "can't get libdl.so"
using the newer openhardwaremonitorlib fixed the issue for me.
no update on this issue ? it's been almost a year without any activity
