Non-default device?

I saw your library used as part of this project: https://github.com/KrishKrosh/TrackWeight

I was curious, could this library be extended to support external trackpad devices like the Apple Magic Trackpad? I don't really know what methods the MultitouchSupport.framework exposes / if this is possible. But it would be cool to use an external device as a scale too.
