Feature Request/Inquiry: Endless Mode Score Enabled +1

I don't know if there's any plan to make endless mode recognize individual songs but it'd be nice if it could submit and clear the score between levels or whatever actually happens to reset the score and change songs

basically the way I've noticed it works is:

1. you load the first song
2. the song becomes the baseline for everything and is never actually "unloaded" which is why score submission has to be disabled

and It'd be nice if the song unloaded at the end for things like YUR and clout

Also sometimes it ends a song before the last note so maybe add a bit of a buffer 2-5 seconds before switching songs? (this could also maybe be where the score gets submitted and the song now playing is changed?)

another reason this might be worth doing is I think if it can be done it would probably also fix incompatability with chroma/noodle&map extensions and other single-map modifiers

Endless mode will never submit scores, it's simply too much to have to reset across different mods to allow for score submission to be viable while never leaving the song. As for notes at the end, maps generally just shouldn't have notes ~1 second before the audio ends, but I can look at making it switch closer to the end of the audio, would just add a risk of the song ending before it finishes switching. A buffer could be worth looking into but also has its own problems associated with it since currently it never stops the song from playing, just switches it as it's about to end, that also would not resolve the issues with chroma gmp currently has nor make any difference in interactions with other mods that maps can require

is it not possible to maybe change the behaviour/have a different mode that then backs out to the menu to allow that to happen, and then plays a new song?

Like you said there that'd be an entirely different mode than endless mode, and likely it's own mod rather than a feature of another mod

It still is probably worth at least looking into since as it is endless mode breaks a lot of stuff (even whats in this mod)

Endless mode should have no issues with gmp modifiers that don't impact the map at all
