typeface-aileron aileron-400 small "i" shows up as capital "I"

The aileron-400 font small "i" shows up as capital "I", I have checked the issue to persist in ttf, woff and woff2 formats, demonstrated in this jsfiddle.

The svg format is correct though. If I convert the svg file to ttf, woff and woff2 formats it works fine.
