Update config values for Sonorous Staff doesn't do anything

Minecraft Version: 1.20.1 Mod Version: 1.3.3 Mod Loader: fabric

Description: Trying to decrease the Sonorous Staff's damage by changing the value of "sonorousStaffDamage" variable in deeperdarker.json5 config file. I am on a dedicated server. I am using the training dummy from the "dummmmmy" mod to display the damage numbers. The default value of the variable was on 10.0 and it did 49 damage on a full charge. I decreased the variable to 5.0, still 49 damage. Then 1.0, still 49 damage. Changed it one last time to 0.5 and it still dealt 49 damage on full charge.
