DeeperAndDarker EC Texture Issues

Hi, so recently I contacted Every Compat (Wood Good) about not having the bloom wood added to the mod since Echo wood was. Recently they updated the mod and added the blood wood so it was compatible. Unfortunately due to the texture of the stem block that creates the bloom wood is 8x8 it breaks some of the textures. So after talking to the Dev of EC they suggested to add a 16x16 texture just for EC to use and add it as bloom_log_alt. Which would fix the texture issues with EC. I don't know if that's possible for that to be done.

We could, but can't EC also add its own texture? It seems weird for us to add this texture only for compat with this one mod when that mod could add it as a texture for itself.

Tbf I'm just the messenger, It was suggested by EC. So I'm not really sure how it would work, if you guys need to do it or EC. Is there a way to access the textures? How hard/easy is it to change the texture?
