Some image viewer does not open when clicking on a task's thumbnail

When using XnView MP as the default image opening method, the image viewer does not open when clicking on a task's thumbnail, (XnView MP works fine when started from the command line or from another application.)

With the error message:

This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Available platform plugins are: windows.
