Add disk cache setting feature

Open tglsf opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

When downloading a large number of files, the hard disk will perform frequent write actions. By setting a larger disk cache to allow files to be written to memory first, you can alleviate the frequent writes and extend the life of the hard drive, especially SSDs. Please consider this feature, thanks.

It's currently 0.5 MB per file. Image files are usually less than 0.5 MB. Isn't that enough?

I don't know much about programming, all I know is that some torrent downloaders allow you to use a lot of memory as a download cache, as long as you have enough memory. The files are first downloaded to memory and then written to the hard drive at intervals (e.g. 60 or 180 seconds). I don't know if this is the kind of functionality you are describing. Also, if you download images in their original size, then there will be many images up to 1 MB or more in size. Thank you.
