Describe the bug

If you set keepassDX as autofill service it doesn't show in a specific app "scotiabank Peru" it used to work after some update maybe a year ago. I tryed other password manager apps like bitwarden and protonpass and it does work so it is not the app that is trying to prevent password managers from filling. (the app is not blacklisted for autofill)

To Reproduce install keepassDX and set is as the autofill services and it will not fill the app "Scotiabank Peru"

Expected behavior

I should get a popup automatically and/or when using the autofill option when long pressing the field.

Same issue to me. I'm using android 13.

When I open Discord or other apps/webpages, I tap keepassDX's button on the keyboard, select item, then the autofill opinion is not showing, the button changes to "select item".

This happens to me after updated from 3.5.1 to 4.0.5 in F-droid (libre build). I tried free and libre build from github releases, don't work too.

edit: I updated to android 14, it works now. Seems to be something related to android 13.

I have to say that the issue is for both the document number and the password. In the app you first put your id and then the they ask for the password. But both are not working and the important one is the password as i don't know it but I do remember my ID number. I think if one is fixed both will but needed to be sure and say so. hope it can be fixed soon. I think sklynic had a different issue.

have you tried switch your keyboard to keepassdx's own "magic keyboard"? after doing so, you click the poping-up "use keepassdx to login" (instead of the magic keyboard itself) then it works as normal. when with default keyboard it don't pops-up after clicked kpdx's button on keyboard.

(I downgraded back to android 13 then finds this. hoping this helps you)

The password field in this application doesn't seem to be tagged as "password" at all. So it will only be recognized if specific code is dedicated to form recognition for this app. The magikeyboard can solve the problem in the meantime.

no it doesn't work (autofill) even if i change to magic keyboard.

but it does work for bitwarden and proton pass. :/ I cant use magic keyboard because I am using the app inside the safe folder of samsung phone and when i click to open the vault (in magic keyboard) it wants to open the vault from outside the safe folder, not the one that is inside the safe folder where the password is. Also if there is a whay for this would solve the issue for me.
