Regarding https://github.com/ossec/ossec-hids/blob/master/src/rootcheck/db/rootkit_trojans.txt This has to be: `diff !bash|^/bin/sh|file\.h|proc\.h|^/bin/.*sh!` I replaced the whole file /var/ossec/etc/shared/default/rootkit_trojans.txt and that seems to be working.
