Problem Handling Multiple Homes

Open AntonStewart opened this issue 8 years ago • 6 comments

In my case I have two Nest Thermostats at different physical locations (Same account on the Nest app, but separate homes). Adding my account details to config.json added both of these devices to HomeBridge with the result that they both show up in the same home with HomeKit. This is confusing even if you move the accessories into different 'rooms'. If there were some way to select the devices you wish to include or exclude it would be really helpful.

+1, or, provide the ability to specify two different physical locations for the two thermostats.

+1. I have the same issue. Also I was wondering the following: I noticed this week that my second home, which was manually set to AWAY, is automatically switching on all the time. According to its history either because somebody is home or because the schedule instructed it so. Which is weird because manual away should overwrite this. I'm wondering if this is due to the new update (causing AWAY to be called ECO) or if this is a result of some activity in my main home and homebridge switching on the thermostat in the second home?
