I use the program to split the application and get the output of ap-pli-ca-tion, but I see a-ppli-ca-tion on some word apps

This website, based on the same dictionaries as Pyphen, gives the same result. So if you’re sure that the right result is a-ppli-ca-tion, maybe there’s a problem in the English dictionary itself, but not in Pyphen.
