I believe this would be because the legacy version only supports up to Android 12

Yea that's right!

I only created and uploaded the legacy version because some folks had plugins for OBS which were not migrated to OBS 28 at that time (because it was a huge change overall). Most plugins have either been migrated by now or have been abandoned so I don't recommend using the legacy version of the app.

So get the app from the app stores or from F-Droid! 😊
