Kotlin and Java are separated in different folders and it can be perceived as a technical limitation

As explained on StackOverflow this kind of separation is not needed anymore and it is inconvenient for the migration of big projects. It would be good to either change the example or add a clarification to the general project info.

I didn't even know if there's such a limitation, however I've only been using Kotlin since 1.0 RC. My kotlin folders are always empty.

Perhaps the examples could be merged into one folder?
