I was able to control 3x Hero10. The limit is your Bluetooth chip firmware.

Not really, timing over BLE is complicated. If you need accurate time sync look at GoPro Labs, there's a few tools there to get framerate-level sync across cameras.

Check the documentation on goprowifihack/Bluetooth.

It hasn't, you're welcome to test it.

To shine more light, I sniffed the comms between my phone and a Hero7 some years ago but never got to actually decode the messages, recently I focused on this....

I'd leave this as an exercise for the reader.
