Same for us. Also we can't import v5 yaml into our older Insomnia version to export as JSON, or import our v4 yaml into the new version.
Currently, sharing API collections in YAML format causes compatibility issues for users who rely on Postman. It would be helpful to include support for JSON format to ensure better cross-platform compatibility, or at the very least, ensure compatibility with Postman.
@todoroff v4 imports in the app are supported and should work as before. For previous app versions you cannot import v5 into them since they do not support it. For context some of the reasons we went with the YAML format are for simplifying diffing when sharing and making the output more readable. @yadavishir could you expand on the compatibility issues you are facing with Postman?

That's making tools like Insomnia Documenter unusable with new versions

@todoroff when you try to convert insomania YAML to JSON and then import it into postman then it creates n number of same API request in postman.
Anyways, thanks for your time as I have decided to move on from Insomania
