Debug Endpoints do not populate when importing new openapi collection

Open michaelhofrichter opened this issue 11 months ago • 6 comments

Expected Behavior

I've imported an OpenAPI 3.0.2 file to get my endpoints and everything. A copy of that openAPI is available by going here: https://apidocs.legalserver.org/docs/ls-apis/c25097c5ad308-legal-server-core-api-v1 and clicking export in the top right.

When I click on spec, I can see the file and edit it. When I click on Debug, no endpoints show up on the left. image When I've got spec open, I can see details on lots of endpoints: image

I would expect to see 272 automatically created endpoints to test image It said it imported 1 workspace and 272 enpdoints.

Why don't I see any of the endpoints automatically populating?

Actual Behavior

When I click on Debug, no endpoints show up on the left. image

Reproduction Steps

  1. Goto https://apidocs.legalserver.org/docs/ls-apis/c25097c5ad308-legal-server-core-api-v1 and export the OpenAPI references in the top right corner.
  2. In Insomnia, start a new project and import that in as the basis for the project
  3. It will say that it is importing 1 workspace and 272 endpoints.
  4. The spec will eventually show.
  5. switch to the Debug tab and see nothing.

Is there an existing issue for this?

I rolled back my version of Insomnia. 2023.5.5 still had the issue. 2023.4.0 did not and I was able to successfully import my endpoints. image

I just want to add that everyone who uses Insomnia at my company is experiencing this issue as well. Upgrading to version 8, which released today, does not correct the problem.

@michaelhofrichter @dannyarango-soda thank you for reporting this, we'll investigate and hopefully release a fix for this soon.

Any clues about when will this issue be fixed?

In Insomnia 8.3.0 it's still present.

I tried to install this version, but macOS notifies me that it is damaged and I cannot open it
