Add support to Socket.io
Expected Behavior
Insomnia should be able to connect to socket io server
Actual Behavior
While connecting to socketio simple server made using nodejs and express with socket io with an address ws://locahost:8000/chat, when i try to connect , i get a message of socket hang up. The same server works on postman
Reproduction Steps
Make a simple socket io server Try to connect with the socket io server
Is there an existing issue for this?

@rubiin you can connect using ws://localhost:8000/socket.io/?EIO=4&transport=websocket but seem the insominia does not prepered for connections with socket.io
@rubiin thanks for reporting this. What @Warmachine13 mentioned is the current status - we do not support socket.io at the moment. I've tried it myself a few days ago and even though socket.io uses websockets, we need some extra work to make it compatible.
Please socket.io should be added and hoping it can work locally due to network concerns most times
socket.io support would be very useful. It would be nice if this finds away into insomnia
I would be suggesting the socket.io support be available offline also because of countries or regions that do experience network issues

Waiting for this as well. It's frustrating to use different client just for one thing that's not covered by Insomnia 😭
Since pre-request scripts is on beta, this one is the only reason left for me to use Postman, it will be awesome to have this feature 🙏🏻
