Can't open multiple windows/instances of Insomnia anymore
Expected Behavior
Shift-clicking task bar icons or start menu items would open a second window of Insomnia.
Actual Behavior
Shift-clicking the icon appears like it's about to start a new instance (you get the "hourglass" icon next to the mouse pointer) but then either does nothing or shows the existing Insomnia window.
Reproduction Steps
- Open Insomnia from the Start menu.
- Hold shift and click on the Insomnia icon in the Windows task bar.
- Observe that a new instance of Insomnia does not start. The existing window might come in focus.
Is there an existing issue for this?
- [X] I have searched the issue tracker for this problem.
Additional Information
This used to work in an earlier version (I can't remember which version), though opening the second window was surprisingly slow.

+1 Having the same issue. Also now on v2022.7.5 and unsure which version last allowed multiple Insomnia windows. But on Windows 11 Home - Build 10.0.22621
I'm also experiencing this issue, also on 2022.7.5 and Windows 11 22H2.

Same issue, been having it since the fall
Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS Insomnia 2023.4.0
I appreciate that I can open new windows in the latest beta version by selecting Window > New, but I'm just wondering why I can't use the usual shift+click feature?
