[FEATURE REQUEST] Use multiple Documents with 1 collection

Open iamkd opened this issue 4 years ago • 6 comments

Insomnia Designer documentation has screenshots where a lot of documents are shown that are different parts of the API. I could not find a way to sync all the documents into one repository. It looks like each document requires its own repository. Is it correct?

I'd really like to be able to split different parts of the API into different documents but I do not like the idea of creating an extra repository for each document. Thanks!

Not yet 😞, but it is a part of the roadmap to address how we handle connecting an existing repository to another document.

@nijikokun Do you have timeline on when this feature will be available?

I'm interested in the same feature. I'd like to have a single repo with the possibility to manage multiple design spec file.

Are you planning to implement this feature? In my case I've also same environments to be applyed to multiple design spec documents.

Syncing a single document is useless for me

This would be tremendously helpful, our organization uses multiple OpenAPI documents to keep track of our API definitions, and having a single repository would be great for sharing across teams. Since not everyone is contributing and simply consuming, it isn't feasible for us to buy that many subscriptions.

+1 also looking for this feature. Multiple file management is definitely helpful.

same here, but another idea... user could select some subfolder for requests when importing definition document
