[Feature request] Allow to show all movies, even if they are unreachable

Open pokemaster974 opened this issue 1 year ago • 7 comments

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I've imported movies from an external HDD. I would like to see the list of my movies, event if they are unreachable (when the external HDD is disconnected for example).

Describe the solution you'd like Allowing the possibility to show all movies

Describe alternatives you've considered Adding an option in the settings to show movies/series even if folder is "broken".

Additional context No

Thanks for this feature request. They should appear in the list, at least. Until you reload all movies/tv shows, etc. But I don't know what happens if I click on an unreachable movie.

Thanks for your reply, I just made tests today. If the movie is reachable, it opens the file (plays the movie). If I made it unreachable (unplugging my HDD), it does nothing. So I think the behaviour is already good, just to have the possibility to navigate into them even if they are unreachable (via an option in the settings ?). Regards.

Hi, what do you mean by "navigation into"? :) They open in MediaElch (i.e. right side), right? Or do you mean: "open in file explorer"? :)

In my case, when I open MediaElch, all the movie list disappears, I have nothing into it : image

Oh, ok. That shouldn't happen (by default). You don't have "reload on start" enabled for some directories in MediaElch's settings, do you?

Regards, Andre
