multiprocessing RuntimeError on Coqui engine

Open Gregorein opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Hey! I've tried running the CoquiEngine using your example, but I'm receiving error

        An attempt has been made to start a new process before the
        current process has finished its bootstrapping phase.

        This probably means that you are not using fork to start your
        child processes and you have forgotten to use the proper idiom
        in the main module:

            if __name__ == '__main__':
                freeze_support()
                ...

        The "freeze_support()" line can be omitted if the program
        is not going to be frozen to produce an executable.

The traceback points at line 107@RealtimeTTS/engines/coqui_engine.py. Could this be caused by different torch or python version?

You probably just missed to add entry protection to your code. Write

            if __name__ == '__main__':

and put your code behind that.
