Turn existing "unit" tests into proper integration tests

As of 01a21b8ac93a568451a97cecd3e2486b8cc09862, only getters have integration tests, while unit tests of other modules seem closer to integration tests in nature.

#75 didn't turn all tests into integration tests, so let's keep this open for now.
