Zigbee2MQTT identify different device

Open crisc2000 opened this issue 9 months ago • 3 comments

What happened?

I have paired my Zigbee Eglo 12254 lightbulb with Zigbee2MQTT https://zigbee.blakadder.com/Eglo_12254.html Image

The device is working fine and can be turned ON/OFF and color can be changed.

What did you expect to happen?

However Zigbee2MQTT will recognize it as this device as a different device ID (12253) that is a led band https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/devices/900024_12253.html Image

The same happend with the Eglo material number 12253 Smartes LED-Leuchtmittel E27 A60 RGB/CCT 806lm 9W

It suppose to be recognized as AwoX 33957 rather than the EGLO 900024/12253 as shown above.

Please take into account, that the latter has the same ID 12253 like the former but it is in fact a different device. Any possibility to have the device correctly recognized?

Thank you in advance.

EGLO_ZM_RGB_TW missing from awox converter Likely should be part of Awox 33943/33944/33946 as this is an RGB light and not a colour temp light.

However EGLO_ZM_RGB_TW has been added to eglo converter via fingerprint so it may conflict to add changes.

Could be an issue if two devices have the same model reference by different manufacturers.
