apply transformation to linearGradient

Open cyBea opened this issue 6 years ago • 2 comments

After transformation is applied start and end point of linearGradient don't change. Thus SVGs look different.

It would be nice to have start and end point of linear gradients converted according to transformation.

This was the reason I made this extension in the first place :) I wanted my pattern fills to have uniform scaling. I suppose this could be an optional thing though.

I don't know if my issue is the same as @cyBea. I produce a fair number of web graphics and simple SVG animations. The difficulty is cleaning up the SVG. Your extension works well for most transforms and I'm very pleased about that, but I would like to be able to deal with gradients, as, from what I can see, this extension doesn't touch them.

I understand that this may not be on the top of your list of things to work on, but I would really appreciate it if this feature was added.

In the meantime, if you know the calculation. I may be able to do this manually. Anything to clean up these files. :)
