Out of memory.
PS: latest installer, the BCUninstaller_5.6_setup.exe It seems.. i will need to use the portable for a while..
I have the same issue with the 5.5 installer too. ..i don't understand.. i have plenty of free space..
And i just installed another program to make sure.. a pretty heavy one, davinci resolve, and.. it worked just fine so.. its a problem with the bc installer i think
This is an out of RAM error not drive space. Redownload the installer to make sure it's not corrupted. Close all other applications and try again. The installer needs a decent amount of RAM to extract the files since the compression level is very high. If you are running on limited amount of memory then increase size of the swap file.

Sorry bro but i don't have more than this, and still doesn't work.
I also tried restarting the pc. same issue. also tried re-downloading the installer, same issue.
@Klocman After more testing, the problem seems to happen from the version 5.4 and after
I was able to install the program with the 5.3 installer, but if i try the 5.4 , 5.5 or 5.6, always Out of memory.
Well.. whatever.. i reported my problem. i will just copy-paste the portable files of the 5.6 version inside the directory of the 5.3 version that i just installed.
There were no changes to the installer between v5.3 and v5.4 so I don't know why it stopped working for you. My best guess is a disabled or tiny swap file confusing the installer.
