Selecting multiple groups from the LayerList does not work for creating parent group

1. Created two groups, each of at least two elements

2. Select the group nodes in the layer list

3. Create a group

4. Select group in LayerList

Expected: A parent group is created. Bounding box is drawn

Observed: Errors in console and bounding box not drawn
