Clyde hangs at loading xyne-any
I've noticed lately that clyde is unbearably slow lately. It takes multiple minutes for it to find packages in AUR. I ran with --debug and it hangs first at "loading package cache for repository xyne-any". Then it falls back to group search and all repos are very slow as well. I'm using a build from 2010-03-29, will try updating too.
I doubt it would change anything because I have not touched anything that would affect speed in a long time. That does not mean you should not still update, though. That is a month old!
I do not think this is a problem with Clyde since it has not changed. Maybe your database is messed up or xyne-any is foobarred or your internet or AUR?
For what it is worth, It is running great here...:/
[kiwi@lappy:~]$ time clyde -Ss the|wc -l (04-28 19:04)
15195 clyde -Ss the 0.76s user 0.19s system 40% cpu 2.323 total wc -l 0.00s user 0.00s system 0% cpu 2.323 total
Seems to show the most when you do clyde -S nonexistantpackage
