Nested to vtkTree conversion problem - vtk not in default tangelohub anymore

I believe it was feeding a nested format tree to an R analysis expecting an APE tree, that caused a runtime problem. The romanesco log indicated a failure in "nested to vtkTree" because vtk was not included in the default tangelohub instance. Is there a way to migrate the conversion paths so we don't need vtkTree anymore? What is the way we should use to get around this? Thanks.
