Is this repo still maintained by anyone? Looks like the it hasn't been updated for a while, and also waiting for the newest version to be officially released to cocoapods...
@LowAmmo I'll see about updating the cocoapod after the next PR. Though I may start to deprecate cocoapods soon.
@dannys42 - Yeah, SPM is definitely the future... the only kicker is our company's internal build system uses enterprise github with security, so, we haven't had time to sort through how that impacts SPM... So, I know we'll be on cocoapods for probably at least another year (if not 2-3... 😦 )
(I do wish SPM supported subprojects, though... then it would be even easier to switch over!)
@LowAmmo Just curious, what kind of security are you using? If you support enterprise github with ssh, there shouldn't be an issue.
I'd be surprised if you'll be able to get another 2-3 years out of cocoapods. I've had issues with even authentication (as a pod author) that's been unsolved for months. If it weren't for your requests, I would've started dumping cocoapods support.
@dannys42 - Yeah, I don't suspect it will be too tough to make happen...but...we rely on a separate team to manage our CI Build machines, so, because of our security on our enterprise version of github, we at least need some amount of setup/config to happen to enable Xcode to use the correct user/setup when checking out projects from github. 😦
And yeah, as Apple has been promoting SPM...seems like cocoapods has continued to fall by the wayside... But, while it is still working with not too much effort...hoping we can at least keep limping along for a while (and/or maybe at least just go out with a nice clean version in cocoapods with no warnings! 😄 )
