Atari 2600: Frostbite, unusually large platform spaces

Greetings, I was playing my old favourite Atari 2600 game Frostbite today, and I noticed very quickly something off. On the second stage of the default lwo diffiiculty (both switches to A), where there are platforms you can walk accross, I could fall to the water in between them. After some testing, it seems to take just very little effort to fall into that space. It appears also to be quite larger (by a few pixels, but that is huge in Atari 2600 world) than on other emulators like Stella. I am unsure if this is a 7800 or core related issue, so I allow myself to post it here.
