[Call Screening] Caller can't heard assistant voice
Call screening is not working; no audio can hear. The link that to fix the android v6 hal is not working. It's 404 not found.
I am also facing the same problem. Running latest oxygen 11 os on oneplus 9
However the Google assidtant is audible on mine but callers voice cannot be transcripted
Hi janshatad, I had spoofed to a pixel 5 using magisk props config and I removed the spoof and return to stock then I reinstall the module and all my problems were gone. Not sure if that's what you had
I am also facing this issue, my phone is the LG G8s with 3 Magisk Modules (Systemless Hosts, Pixelify and Universal SafetyNet Fix) and runs on its own version of Android 11.
Which Device? and Which Android Version and Rom?
I'm using Pixel Experience Plus Android 12.1 On Redmi Note 6 Pro I once tested the now playing works on my device using the Pixelify 2.0.2 but when i try to clear data the Android System Intelligence It was gone and never back again..
On the other way also the call screening is still not working until this time. The caller can't hear the assistant or i don't see the transcription of what the caller spoke. I hope someone can help this to resolve or in the next update... Thank you and have a great day 😃
Just commenting to add my device/OS on the list: Essential PH-1, same problem. LineageOS 19.1
Just fyi for everyone here, there's point in troubleshooting FAQ that pretty much says that it's to do with some HAL implémentation for audio by vendor. https://telegra.ph/Pixelify-Troubleshooting-and-FAQ-05-08
My blind guess: Most of firmwares today are assembled based on vendor supplied blobs, so if they don't have implémentation for call screening - it just won't work. I still haven't found simple way to debug this to dig further, but so far it seems like a tough task to fix. Vendor blobs are also not opensourced by vendor, so it adds complexity.

When you initiate assistant its using local offline files (downloading them is prerequisite of assistant setup), not streaming stuff from google servers, so WiFi or not - shouldn't matter.

Its one time activity. On the very bottom of Call Screen settings it says that it doesn't use anything except of call minutes when you actually use it.
Call Screen doesn't use data or Wi-Fi but does use carrier call minutes.

Transcript working; no assistant voice to the other end; no voice getting recorded here as well.

Caller cannot hear assistant voice after recent updates, worked on 2.3 Beta.

Caller cant hear anything on 3.0 - on a Moto Z Play Addison w/ LineageOS 18.1. Also, when the caller speakers, its not transcribed on my phone.
