Recent Toolbox causes Animal Crossing New Horizons villager mods to crash game.

I have been experimenting with villager modding in Animal Crossing New Horizons and I have found that the recent release of toolbox causes my game to crash. I have tried doing the exact same modifications to villagers with an earlier release of toolbox 1.0.21 and it works fine. Something in the newer versions isn't compatible with ACNH villager files (.zs). It's strange because all other types of mods work, just not villagers.

If you can provide a bfres with the old version and with new version, that would be helpful to compare against.

I am also having this isssue, sadly I dont have the 1.0.21 version to test this on. Is the bfres just the model itself? If so I do have mods from before the toolbox update so I could make a new version of those models to go off for comparisons.
