@cnieves1 it seems that the FC model doesn't contain the source of the 3D model but just the model aligned to the fp... did you design the 3d model? have you the source of it? thx

It was designed with a closed source program, exported to step and imported into Freecad. I'm afraid it was not designed using Freecad.

@cnieves1 there is no problem in adding a source from different cad sw, even if FreeCAD is the suggested 3d sw. What is necessary it to have a source to modify in case of need.
