The live drag and drop gltf-validator: http://github.khronos.org/glTF-Validator/ is using branch 2.0.0-dev.1.8 instead of using the latest tagged release (2.0.0-dev.1.7).

Not sure where to ask this, but what is the process of updating NPM and the live drag and drop tool with the latest validator?

I can merge 2.0.0-dev.1.8 as is if its changes are important for your workflow. Most of working group folks are at events now, so there's a little slowdown in glTF repos activity.

Online version usually follows the latest dev branch (as soon as updates are covered with tests) so that people could easily preview upcoming changes. NPM package is updated shortly after merge to master.

It might be useful to include the merge/packaging workflow on the main readme so folks understand how the builds work and what to expect out of each end point.
