I corrected the comma/semicolon issue (commit 13321ce2). Thanks.

I'm not sure about making the comment changes in this PR. At this point I think I'd prefer to hold all the copyrights in can2040 so that I have flexibility for relicensing in the future. Something to reconsider if there is a significant code contribution in the future.

To keep things simple on the licensing front, I’m completely open to waiving any rights to my contribution. Feel free to consider it as CC0 or Public Domain if that’s helpful for your future plans with the project.
