Support for kmscon would be total bliss.

Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't seen that terminal before, so I'll need to do some research. I'll be happy to add support (when I have some time) if it looks reasonable.

Sweet. Kmscon is awesome. In a nutshell, it runs in userspace in KMS/DRM mode, is hardware accelerated, and supports 256-color 24-bit palettes.
