Adding image preview with settings for size and activation, added a scrollbar as well
yup, it works, hope it works for you as well, but for me it does and i'm happy now, (i'm dev'd this on linux mint with cinnanom btw)
the only catch is that the image quality is horrible when you change the size, but it gets fixed automatically when you add something new to the clipboard.
i added scrolling as well because when the images are too big it takes the whole screen and then it's as hard to close or manipulate as to close vim.
added to make the windows bigger of more tiny, vertically is the way to use it but i added horizontal as well to add some pain.
looks like this btw
but theres not support for images when you want to copy them as files
We really need this as soon as possible....
Reviewing this is on my todo list, but I do this for free on my spare time and I have 4 kids to take care of, so this definitely fells behind that. Also, people actually pay me for reviewing and releasing features on other projects, so I tend to do these first as well 🙂
Requesting stuff "asap" like this, and feeling entitled to do so, is the best way to make me just ignore this and not review it.

I am fine with everything except the last line. No one is being "entitled" here. If it was just filing an issue and asking it to be implemented, that could maybe termed as "entitlement". In this case someone is actually trying to contribute code.
In any case, I am not the MR author, I did not mean to hurt anyone's sentiment, this project is completely yours and you can do whatever you want with it. I will see myself out. Cheers.
I would have preferred waiting the migration to gtk4 to be over before landing this, and have quite a few comments about this PR, but don't have enough available spare time nor sponsoring to work properly on GPaste and do a back-and-forth review in a timely fashion for this. I don't want to hold this back any longer though. Thanks for the work @J0bot, I'll merge this as-is and do a followup commit with my fixes soon, then i'll cut a new release soon, before gnome 49 gets released hopefully.
