Documentation for General Behavior switches

I can't seem to locate any information on two of the switches in the Gpaste settings menu. Most of them are self-explanatory so it's understandable why this is missing, however,

One in particular, Sync the daemon state with the extension's one is not self-explanatory like the rest of them. It's not evident why you would tune this switch on or off.

Another one Detect growing lines (on by default) doesn't really describe why this is needed. I assume it's some sort of overload protection?

Merely tuning these options on/off doesn't have any immediately noticeable effects, so I believe they deserve a bit of elaboration.

Please provide an explanation for these options somewhere
