Cannot install macos from created installer pictures included

so i followed everything just like you laid out. made the vm to install os later, selected macos with a 100 something gig hard drive. finished that and then created a new hd with the installer vmdk i downloaded and put the installer right before the other 1. in the first picture the installer hd is 80 gig because i tried expanding it to make room toi put the os on there. it didn't change what happens though. i get through until i have to select where i'm installing the os and from there i cant do anything. the bigger hd isn't showing up and i can't put it on the installer.the last image is where im stuck. i can't select the installer hd or any other 1 to install the os. if it matters im running ryzen 7 2700 with gygabyte b450 motherboard.

nevermind.... i feel pretty dumb about this one. i didn't format the other hd in the correct format. thanks for the post though i've been after a work around for the hackingtosh for a little bit now. I wanna test my rubber ducky on a macos. i know not everything will work correctly but hopefully close enough.
