What should be my concerns regarding giving access to my Tesla account for this app to work ?

Your account never leaves your devices. I don't know who you are, your devices or even if you've bought the app. I don't run any servers - the app is completely self hosted and does everything locally on your devices direct to Tesla.

On top of that, the code that does the authentication is open source and open for your inspection (though you have no guarantee other than my saying so that that code is what is used in this app - but I wrote it at least, so there's that).
