No Network Connection

Open SPN168 opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

Noticed yesterday Watch for Tesla not working. When I open the app on my watch and iPhone it says no network connection. My watch has also been intermittently asking to download update when I am on wifi. I have tried but nothing happens. Please advise.

Hard to tell without further details. Start by updating all software - both operating systems and app versions. If the watch app is funky, manually check for updates in the App Store app on your phone and ensure everything's updated - then open the Apple Watch app and uninstall watch for Tesla - once gone from the watch, reinstall it again from the Apple Watch app. Then try the app again.

Also ensure the app is not in travel mode - if so, tap the refresh button to fetch new data from the car.

Would it make a difference if I have not been able to download ios 16 yet?

That really should not be a problem - I've been running the app myself on iOS 15 and watchOS 8 up until this Monday.

If this continues, please first check you don't see travel mode: refresh on the main screen - if you do, then tap refresh (or disable travel mode in advanced settings) - if that's not the case, please tap settings in the iOS version of the app and then scroll all the way down to show logs at the bottom and then use the send debug logs option to email me the contents (do not post them here online, as they might contain your vehicle id or vin - feel free to clear that out first before sending if you don't trust me with that data, it's of no use to my anyway)
