Plex marks it as watched instantly.

When I click on the open external player and go back to plex, plex marks it as watched instantly.

Is their a way for the external player to update plex after a certain period of time like 15 minutes after watching anime on the external player (I use mpv) then plex marks it as watched.

Might be doable if the marking was done by the agent instead of the script. However I personally will only try to keep it running if something breaks due to updates and will no longer add any features, as I simply do not have the time.

But since you mention that you are using mpv as your player you might want to take a look at plex-mpv-shim instead of using the script.

I use taiga.moe to track anime so having an external player that plays your subtitles correctly and tracks your anime with taiga would be nice.

InFerNoBeasTz, quick question if I may.

Do you see the item as played without having to reload the page? Ex. If you have an item in 'Continue watching' and start playing one of those items, do they disappear from Continue watching without having to refresh?

I currently have a small problem, items get marked as played instantly but I have to refresh to see the change.
