User input malformed: expected float for dictionary value @ data['tolerance']
Hi
i am using the following Components:
- Eve Thermo 4. Gen. (integrated in HA)
- Aqara Door&Window Magnet Contacts
HA and Better thermostat has the newest FW Version. I am using my HA instance on an VM on ESXI
So i want to use my TRV with better theromstat and want to configer the first steps like This:
what is the problem in this case? I dont understand it.
Hopefully someone can help me
thanks!!!
Deleting the 0 (zero) value of the "Tolerance" option (last in the list), fixed it for me.
I think you may be wasting your time.
I opened this bug report weeks ago. A beta was issued, it didnt solve the issue. ( dont think the beta was tested) . So I opened another bug report. Now I see that has also been closed but the bug still exists.
There seems to be no feedback from the author when an update is released, so we have no way of knowing what he is doing, whether there are updates, and the current bug reports just get closed without any feedback.
Now unable to use the "better Thermostat" for any use related to "state change" and am discovering that there are very few entities that are actually working withing the card, redering it pretty pointless. And certainly no alternative options available, not even the "NOT" command is working, so unable to use "NOT HEATING" as an alternative to "IDLE"
as fo your case, just remove the "0" and leave it an empty field.
Very dissapointing and am now recosidering HA as a viable platform. There just seems to be failures day after day. If its not one thing its another.
It is a float field, as workaround put a floating value like 0.1
