InboxSDK team says their UI changes still works, so it hopefully means no drastical changes, but still need to test.
I’ll see if the contacts I have in Google still works. If so, we might get lucky.
2 out 3 contacts I have are no longer working there.
Let’s hope the last person reads my mail and can get us in touch with the right people.
And those 2 friends who no longer work at Google can't provide you with any Gmail contacts? Gmail really must be interested in getting the maximum integration... ;-)
Their not close friends. They're simple people I've been involved with before, by email, through a @google.com email address which now bounces :wink:
Edit: Found 2-3 more emails from the past, 1 which is a higher up, and which doesn't bounce. Let's hope we can get some traction.
Edit 2: So far all I've got is tumbleweed. Worst case scenario we'll have to wait and see.
Got new UI in my Gmail, quick glance it works the same, and my extension works fine with it.
Noticed that class names changed again and my extension sidebar does not attach it properly, covering the inbox instead of adjusting it's right padding.
hmm .afC div[data-hovercard-id] cannot be found someitmes, will be testing more to understand changes.
Btw to enable new UI you need to opt in to Chat, Spaces and Meet in settings first, and after that it takes some time to get prompted to switch to new UI
I have followed the steps you indicate and I cannot access the new integrated Gmail layout, is it only available for Google Workspace? I have a personal account.
Not sure when the enroll popup appears, I got it quickly for one of my personal accounts, but haven't got it for the other one yet. You should see this popup and click on it.
Using another personal Gmail account I managed to load the new Gmail view. Thank you very much for your help Huksley.
I finally got access too. From what I can tell (so far) nothing seems fundamentally broken or causing me to need to update my extension.
