Back-navigation doesn't update table of contents

The dropdown ToC menu doesn’t update after tapping the back-button.This screenshot by way of example: I’d tapped UIToolbar on the page shown, and then “<“ to get back here, where we still see the UIToolBar contents. This behavior appears to be consistent, at least the few times I tried it.
